The company Coimbra has hired more than 40 employees this year but the growth dynamics justifies the continued recruitment strategy, extending the team that has more than 220 people.
“In 2014, the number of employees grew by over 20% with the WIT ended the year with more than 200 employees. This year, we grow from 25% to 30% the number of employees, “said Pedro Pereira, CTO of WIT, the TeK.
The skills profile that the company favors this recruitment process focuses on programming for iOS, Android, Java, Web and C ++, but also quality engineers and testing; UI designers and project managers.
The WIT Software has an offer focused on communication operators of the market and already exports over 80% of software, which sells to 33 countries.
Since the beginning of the year the company has focused more on visits to universities and polytechnics in order to create a growing approach to computer engineering students.
Asked by TeK about the quality of training in this area, Pedro Pereira says is “quite good”. “Of course we would like to see them come out with knowledge of programming for mobile platforms such as iOS or Android, but since we were quite pleased to have a good background in Software Engineering and eager to learn,” he explains.
