Some time ago, Google added the YouTube application an icon of “bell” on the platform of the channel screens to be notified when your favorite youtubers send a new “upload”. Thus, you can watch the latest videos quickly, but boring is that so far users could only watch the video immediately, or tap the shortcut to settings to disable notification.
Recently, however, uploads notifications from YouTube app channels are gaining a new action – watch later. If you do not want to see the latest video of the channel on which is inscribed at the time the video is available, you can tap the icon of this new action to add it to your list of “watch later”.
Below, readers can give the left the old version of the notifications, and right the new version. Notice a new clock icon, which sends the video to watch later, and a “bell” which is the new settings icon for notifications.
It is an interesting and very useful fact that Android notifications are becoming more complex, allowing users to actions that deal with the options within the YouTube application itself. If the shortcut “options” to disable notification is the best choice for another wave of buttons, it is open to debate, but it is easy to see that some users may want a more immediate way to stop notifications, if they become annoying.
Apparently Google is sending the new YouTube notification action through the server, so the news should not come at once for all, can either be obtained from some other means. So those who have not seen yet the feature, only remains to wait.
