The BlackBerry has confirmed in an interview John Chen to Cnet, which will not continue with its own operating system, opting to use Android.
The Canadian company plans to launch a new product, and potentially two smartphones during 2016. The BlackBerry Priv, launched in 2015, was the company’s first to have an operating system other than the company itself.
About Priv, John Chen said only that sales so far is “okay”, having a “cautiously optimistic view.”
