Soon, install applications on a smartphone or tablet Android may become easier. Google is testing a new feature that will enable its users to install applications from search engine results without having to enter the Play Store.
According to Android Police, quoted by The Verge, the feature only works when searched through the Google application and some users who already are testing they fail to do through the browser.
The Google usually shows the application links to the Play Store or the App Store Apple’s. However, this is the first time that users can download and install the intended application without going through a store.
The functionality will ask permission from the user, through a window, and installation buttons as happens when you install an app by the Play Store.
It was unclear if the functionality will be extended to all users and can be used in browsers, like Chrome. Contacted by The Verge, Google did not comment on the news
