Samsung releases Android 6.0.1 update for Marshmallow … – Tudocelular.com

The Samsung recently started providing Android Marshmallow to members of a testing program in some parts of the world, allowing its users could test the new inserted by South Korea in the newest edition its customization TouchWiz and help in the development with the reporting of bugs found.

Now the company starts releasing the update officially but only in South Korea. The first devices to share with novelty are the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. In the first trial Samsung brought Android 6.0, but updated the code to version 6.0.1 in its latest round of testing with the new TouchWiz company. And according to those who participated in the test program, this new version has brought great improvements in terms of speed and system stability, thus reinforcing what was said by the company in 2016 will be the year of optimizing the most of TouchWiz.

The S6 Edge gained even more advantages with the arrival of Marshmallow, bringing the shortcut “My Places” that lists which applications last used by the user. There is also the “Task Edge” which is very similar, but allows the user to create relevant shortcuts to system resources and apps.

Another new feature is the “Quick Tools” that provides information on the location and time, as well as shortcuts to the S Planner, Twitter Trends, Yahoo Finance and Sports. As can be seen, Samsung really wants to make it clear to have some smartphone Edge series shows considerable differentials for other devices, even the Galaxy line with the same version of TouchWiz.
