Do you have a computer leaning against a corner because it’s already so slow that it can barely open a browser? The Jide has just announced the Remix OS 2.0, a completely free operating system based on Android Lollipop. Best of all this is even access to Google Play, meaning that you can download the 1.6 million apps available depending on the specifications of your machine.
More than entertainment, the Remix OS 2.0 promises be an operating system facing productivity, unlike what can you often (or not) make Android. For example, having two open windows, move files from one folder to another or use the typical Ctrl + C Ctrl + V is something possible with this software. The working environment, somewhat similar to Windows, has only one wallpaper with a taskbar, where some applications for faster access.
The Remix OS 2.0 will be available for both PC and Mac and can even be installed on a flash drive, meaning that you can walk with your own desktop from one side to the other and use any machine to work.
The tests done at the Remix in benchmark programs, as indicated by the Jide in its official website revealed far superior results compared to other devices to run Android as a Note 5 or Galaxy S6. In a way, this proves how light the Remix OS can be, proving to be a very attractive solution for older products – however, it should be noted will need at least an x86 processor for everything to work

The great advantage is that the same Remix be based on Android, that is, developers do not need to worry because all apps available on Google Play will be compatible with this operating system. Microsoft Word, Flipboard, snapchat, Slack, Instagram, Acrobat Reader … and so on.
Version 2.0 of Remix OS will be available for download on 12 January. You must ensure that your pen drive has a USB 3.0 and 8 GB of available storage
