The application of Open Whisper Systems has been referenced in a positive way by many privacy advocates – and critics of NSA – but was only available for iPhone and iPad. Now the company decided to make it available also for Android, joining the messages and private calls in a single application.
The company had now available for Android the RedPhone app for encrypted calls and TextSecure for messages, but now combines the two features.
