Android 6.0 is only 0.3% of devices – Pplware

Definitely have a device with Android means having to wait a good month to get the manufacturer to release the update (ie if the equipment is not a Nexus).

At the beginning of October to Google began releasing images of this new version of the Nexus but equipment, spent nearly a quota of adoption only reached a mere 0.3%.

Google recently released the Android adoption statistics. The data presented refer to access to Google Play for all Android equipment in the last 7 days.

According to the data now revealed, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow which was officially announced last day September 29 is only 0.3% of devices where most of them are equipment of the Nexus line. Despite being a fairly low percentage, the Android 6.0 adoption rate has overcome previous versions

Within a year of its launch, the adoption of Android Lollipop continues to grow is standing now at 25.6% (ie by adding the devices with Android 5.0 and Android 5.1).

For the other versions being continue to lose users. The Android 4.4 KitKat now has 37.8% (is the most widely used version of today), the Android 4.1-4.3 Jelly is 29% , Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has 3.3% and the elderly ndroid 2.3 Gingerbread and Android 2.2 Froyo have 3.8% and 0.2%, respectively.
