Pushbullet win support for many new features of Android … – Tudocelular.com

The Pushbullet provides a popular file transfer service, and now updated its Android client with support for number of new features Marshmallow. The application now uses the new permissions at runtime, meaning you can selectively grant or deny access to multiple requests it.

Probably the most important new feature of Android 6.0 is the runtime permissions. Instead of having to approve each individual permission that an application prompts before being able to install it (or update), you can now approve permissions when an application needs them. This is a great improvement for users and developers, so we added support for runtime permissions on our Android app.

This means that the Pushbullet now only ask permissions you need when you enable features such as the timing for SMS notification or mirroring. If you do not want to sync enabled SMS, no problem to install the app, or to use other features, so you can be sure that the service could not read or get text messages without permission. Thus, the Pushbullet may request up to 4 permission groups:. SMS, contacts, phone and storage

In addition, Pushbullet added support to the Direct Share, which will add their latest devices right to the menu Android Share, which makes sending to another even faster device. The “push” between the devices is often the main use of Pushbullet, so this is a big improvement that will make this faster action.

The company also announces that reduced the APK size of your application 25%, which is good news for the more concerned about storage space. Its already known mirrored notifications are also available on Android Marshmallow and several bugs have been fixed.

The Pushbullet also advises that was possibly repaired MMS problem for those affected in Marshmallow, and the company asks users to confirm through feedback.

Users can get the service in its latest version in Pushbullet page in the Play Store. But remember that to enjoy the new features you must have the Marshmallow Android operating system.
