Updating of Aquaris A4.5 Marshmallow comes to Android … – Leak

Company which shows extremely versatile partnerships, HRC announced in September the first Android phone One in Europe, BQ Aquaris A4.5 that the Leak had the opportunity to analyze. With solid midrange features, the great strength of the A4.5 is its pure Android in partnership with Google, and to promise quick update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a market segment where many smartphones starting to get lollipop.

Being the update as focal point, the HRC announced today have received all necessary codes by Google and given already beginning on the 24th November in the beta testing phase of equipment in Spain for quality control and adaptation of drivers.

According to the timetable that Leak received on 07 December will be released the beta firmware with bug fixes detected to make themselves from day 14 from December. Later will be carried out the CTS / GSM validation tests, for approval of the final firmware by Google already on 23 December.

So, the good news comes on 28 December when Google make available OTA update for all Aquaris A4.5 units.

The more anxious then have one month of waiting ahead, but the update arrives within quite acceptable, effectively making the Aquaris A4.5 one of the first smartphone in the domestic market with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the first in its price range.
