75% of Windows Phone users migrate to Android or iOS – Pplware

The war of mobile operating systems has never been so on. Each brand and system tries to captivate users themselves, with proposals for new equipment and new features, always trying to innovate and be different.

A recent study showed a reality that might be unknown to most. The level of loyalty to operating systems is very low in some cases, and Windows Phone has the lowest of all.

The study Mobility Report, Ericsson, has shown that the different scenarios that lead users to keep or not faithful to systems which are integrated and who chose as his own.

The most glaring example, and that is by far the most telling, is on users of Microsoft’s mobile operating system. Who chose this operating system has a natural propensity to move to another when carrying out an upgrade. Altogether there are 75% of users those who are willing to relocate to another operating system.

The choices for exchange are obvious and fall on Android and on iOS, with Google’s operating system It is preferred. The difference for iOS is in this case substantial.

Altogether there are 60% those who opt for Android and 15% those who choose the mobile operating system from Apple.

Only 20% revealed that decided to stay in Windows Phone when changing equipment. The preferences of the remaining 5% are not specified in the study.

The Ericsson study also showed how the remaining users mobile operating systems behave face the possibility of an upgrade.

The system most loyal followers, and they do not think to exchange is Android. They are 82% users who have decided to remain in this next system you see that buying a new smartphone.

But the iOS side numbers are also positive, with 73% of users choose to keep the Apple operating system in the future.

To create this study and its findings, Ericsson has collected information from more than 100 networks around the world, creating behavioral profiles of users and operating systems used.
