Android is more secure applications than iOS, says study – EN Journal

There is always a great rivalry between fans of the two major mobile operating system, Apple’s iOS and Android’s Google. One of the issues that many mention is that iOS is safer than Android, as applications are concerned.

However, a recent survey indicated just the opposite, showing that iOS is more vulnerable than Android and terms of security of mobile applications.

The research carried out by AppSec Labs and the Checkmarx shows that applications developed for Apple’s platform show greater vulnerabilities than applications for Android.

According to the study, on average, an application has nine vulnerabilities, and in iOS, 40 percent were considered critical or high severity, while on Android this number was by 36 percent .

These studies are worth always what they are worth. However, not without some reason simply by, see the recent attacks on famous accounts, and vulnerabilities found in APPs social networking, as was the case InstaAgent, although this APP has covered both iOS as Android.
