ESET announced the launch of ESET Parental Control for Android, a new security app, specifically designed to protect children from online threats.

The new application, which is already available in Google Play Store allows parents to help their children to explore the web through a secure and controlled environment.

ESET Parental Control for Android, aimed at devices based on the Android operating system (as its name implies) says a number of protection mechanisms in order to ensure that children travel in the virtual world safely.

A study supported by ESET, 88% of parents have voiced concerns with what their children can access online. The new ESET security system for Android has several useful features to protect children from Internet threats and inappropriate web pages.
