In the race to win the functions already existing in the Telegram and other rivals, WhatsApp released a new feature that promises to facilitate group conversations on Android, iOS, and Windows 10 Mobile. Now, it is possible to mention friends in a conversation to call attention to someone individually. The novelty debuted in the Beta versions, and it already begins to be released to all.
To use the feature, just type "@" to get a list of the members of the group. From here it is only necessary to select the people you want to attract attention and to write a message as usual. The feature operates in a manner very similar to the same function of the Telegram, the messenger Russian that became popular in Brazil after the series of locks to WhatsApp.
The novelty can be obtained from the applications official, in the latest versions of all three mobile operating systems.
