Distribution of Android: Marshamallow reaches almost 20 … – Tudocelular.com

At the beginning of 2016, a report of the distribution of the Android operating system has revealed that the Marshmallow was still in the back of the Lollipop and even KitKat 4.4. The growth of the version 6.0 was shy, and spent only 0.5% to 0.7%, without reaching even a 1% slice of the total distribution.

This time, about nine months later, the chart shows already quite different, placing the Marshmallow with a slice as well greater in the distribution system. However, little has changed for the Lollipop and Kitkat, who follow in leadership. Who had their share decreased most dramatically was the Jelly Bean.

The data were collected by the company during a period of 7 days, which ended on 05 September 2016.

At the beginning of the year, the Jelly Bean used to 24,7%, while KitKat had participation of 36.1%, and the Lollipop or 32.6%. The Marshmallow barely appeared, with only 0.7%.

As you can see in the above chart, Jelly Bean now holds a 15.6, the KitKat fell to 27.7%, while the Lollipop has grown a little getting to 25%. Already the Marshmallow now has 18.7%.

The Android Nougat still does not appear in the chart, which means that it has not yet exceeded the mark of 0.1%, which is the minimum for it to be added in the list.
