The Aptoide, the shop the largest independent mobile applications for Android, will launch an award for the best applications to the Portuguese in this software. The winners of the "Aptoide App Awards" will be announced on the 8th of November in Lisbon.

The choice will be made by an independent jury from a short-list 50 applications in areas such as consumption, sport and lifestyle, gaming, tourism, and travel. The projects will be evaluated based on criteria such as design, user experience, functionality, performance, and innovation.
The Aptoide is recruiting 40 new employees by the end of this year, especially for technical positions: Web Development, Backend Development, Android Development, and Systems Administration. Are also available some places in the area of Business Development.
This startup technology has reached the financial balance in the operation in 2015 and has already grossed over two million euros. With over 20 million active users per month and, in three years, you want to get to the thousand million of equipment throughout the world.
The Aptoide account with a total funding of close to five million dollars (4,59 million euros), after having closed at the beginning of this year a round in Series A of $ 4 million.
