Google has made it clear this week that they are ready to turn their attention on a smartphone: the Pixel. Android will continue to be updated, will continue to have dedicated teams to work with the third party manufacturers of Android devices, but here comes the great opportunity. Now is the time. Google may not have made a formal declaration of their intentions of being in the first place, but they are certainly keeping an eye on the top of the table. The phone Google’s Pixel is about to be the best device on the services and hardware of the Google, all at once.
No matter that the devices with higher resolution displays exist. It does not matter that there are devices that have higher ratings in the waterproofing, and that the range of hardware that Google is not as great as Apple or Samsung.
The message from Google this week was that the Pixel, you’ll have the speed of the update of the line Nexus and the brand strength of an iPhone.
With the deal that Google has with Verizon to carry the device, at the same time that the giant north american offers the device online unlocked for other carriers, the circle is now complete.
The brand name could be a little stronger. Pixel doesn’t feel like an obvious name for a phone of great success – but, again, not "Galaxy", when Samsung began selling its Android-based smartphones. Now Samsung sells the most Android phones in the world while waging a battle with the Apple iPhone for-sale units around the world.
The Google Nexus was made by Google for the Android experience par excellence for the last few years, but however not sold massive amounts. But why?
it is Not the kind of dedication that only comes with rapid updates to software . If Google does this right, the third party manufacturers should be afraid. Not that they need to, as Google continues to support other manufacturers, while still working on the Pixel.
