Giants lose space in the Android market for brands … – Tecmundo

A new market research made by Kantar Worldpanel and ComTech revealed something quite interesting about the Android market in the last quarter. According to the numbers brought by them, not just the slice dominated by the platform of Google suffered a small drop, as the main companies manufacturers of devices of the company have also been shown to suffer with this loss.

Not all bad news, however. While LG, Motorola and Samsung fall, smaller companies in the Android market, such as Alcatel and ZTE, have had the opposite way, bringing a growth of 3.5% each in the last three months. It is important to note that the devices of these brands are usually sold as packages of telephony pre-paid; therefore, it is a sign clear enough that the search is now for an affordable cost.

The numbers, it is worth noting, differ a bit according to the region of the world. In France, in Germany, in Italy, in Spain and in the United Kingdom, for example, Android had a growth to 78.1%. Already in the USA, it was registered a drop by 66.9% to 65,2%. In China, for its part, the market of the platform of Google only grows (while the Apple only decreases); the difference, of course, is in the domain of companies such as Huawei, Xiaomi and Oppo.

Be that as it may, the fact is that the smaller companies are growing in the mobile market. And it would not be surprising to see them become the future giants, if the numbers remain so optimistic.
