Microsoft alert: The iOS is no longer safe that the Android – Follow

it Is a common idea that the iOS is the operating systems more secure, and that, in turn, Android has security levels very high.

But, after all, can all be deceived and iOS may be as or more insecure than Android. Who says it is Microsoft, based on recent information.

Android iOS

it Was Brad Anderson, vice president for mobility at Microsoft, who came to warn all to this new reality. Anderson presented this idea based on the recent cases of security breaches that have affected iOS.

In concrete, took as an example the recent malware problem Pegasus, which was discovered by security company Lookout. The second has been discovered, this is the most persistent and sophisticated malware that exists for iOS, and all are expected to upgrade to the latest version of this operating system.

The information that Brad Anderson shared in an article published in a blog of Microsoft, shows that this recent case shows that, after all, the iOS turns out to be as or more vulnerable than Android, and that everyone should focus on the security problems in a global way, and not by the operating system.

Brad Anderson reinforces that the mobile devices are constantly under attack, regardless of the platform used or of the applications that are used.

Over the last two years, I’ve had senior executives tell me countless times that they have unwavering implicit trust in the iOS platform. In these discussions it’s been pretty common to hear a comment like, "I don’t trust Android because it is like the wild, wild west – but I have tremendous trust in iOS because it is a controlled and procured the ecosystem." I’m not attempting to throw stones at Android or iOS – but there is the dilemma with this perspective. To be perfectly clear, the dilemma is this: I know for a fact that all the providers of mobile operating systems go to superhuman lengths to harden their platforms and everything they can [to] deliver the most secure operating system possible – but this fact also exists in our modern era of digital threats that produce consistent successful attacks despite the incredible efforts of the organizations building these platforms.

mobile devices are now a target with as much or more interest than the computers, because they have access to sensitive information about the companies, and should the security be transversal and focused on all the devices.

Android iOS

Anderson focuses that all companies should assume that they are in a position of vulnerability and, from there, build your defense systems to protect themselves.

But the most important point of this extensive article Brad Anderson is that, today, there are no systems perfect and that anyone can be attacked, often without the users aware of it.

Already there will the time that iOS was more secure than Android and, as you can see, both systems are vulnerable, and users are exposed.
