Apple is discussed is at the fragmentation of Android, and commends membership of 60 … – Tudocelular.com

Apple held this Thursday, an event to present news unrelated to the iPhone, as the new app TV and an update of the MacBook Pro. However, before entering on the subject of the day, the CEO Tim Cook took the opportunity to reveal some numbers about the company – as usual.

Cook first tried to make an advertising of the new smartphones of Apple, praising the product and citing a few evaluations strongly positive in the press. Then he spoke of the resource Memories and, finally, needled Android.

According to the Apple CEO since June, when the Memories have been introduced, more than 400 million memories have been created and viewed. There are more than two million per day, on average.

in Case you don’t remember, the Memories is a feature in iPhotos that create personalized flash galleries using artificial intelligence and facial recognition to group images of the same event, date or location, creating something like a small video with them.

in Addition to praise (enough) their own product, which was officially launched a little over a month, Cook took the opportunity to give a nudge in Google. The CEO of Apple has quoted that 60% of iPhone users have already switched to iOS 10. While the latest version of Android does not have 1%.

The issue of fragmentation of Android is already widely known, of course. However, in defense of Google, there’s not much to do, since the system is in the hands of the manufacturers to reach users. And, until now, only Nexus and Pixel already have the Nougat.

The problem, however, is much more serious. Android 6 Marshmallow, launched more than a year, has not yet reached a 20% share in the market of robozinho. About 80% of users still use the Lollipop, or a version even older.

it Is true that many users do not connect to system update, or sometimes don’t even know that it is necessary to do the update on their smartphones, but there is a security issue to use devices out-of-date. It’s no wonder that Android is the preferred target of hackers.
