Trojan Android requests selfies with id cards – PCGuia

A team of researchers from the division McAfee Labs discovered a new banking malware, which is based on the Trojan Acecard, which infects Android mobile devices.

The new Trojan, able to monitor some of the apps installed on the Android device, it prompts the user, in the name of the Google Play store, that provide data about your credit card as well as selfies with the card id.

The team of McAfee Labs found the majority of the victims in Hong Kong and in Singapore.
