… only to government equipment?
The competition in the area of mobile devices is so (with many devices) that companies are required to rethink and invent some features / characteristics that make their different devices from other … and so show some innovation.
arise now rumors that the Russian company Yotaphone (the company that created a Android smartphone with two screens) will leave the operating system Google at the expense of Sailfish OS in targeted equipment to the Government.
According to IDC, Android and iOS dominate about 96% of the mobile device market. Still, the Yotaphone company, leading manufacturer of mobile devices in Russia, has announced that its next equipment may come with Sailfish OS instead of Android, this because the Russian government wants to “move away” of systems controlled by American companies.
The Sailfish OS an operating system optimized for mobile devices, which is based on the Linux MeeGo (which was “discarded” by Nokia).
The Russian company has not confirmed yet if the already marketed YotaPhone 2 will also support the Sailfish OS.
Is this a good option for new equipment of Yotaphone?
