Sony confirms that begin to release Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in … – Tudocelular.com

This week we saw the first indications that the Lollipop is coming for some members of the Xperia line. A certification in the American body PTCRB points out that the devices lines Xperia Z2 and Z3 Sony would be ready for the upgrade with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop , the latest official version. Under the 23.4.A.0.546 number was recorded last Wednesday (15). And although there is the mention of Android 5.1.1 deduction is logical, considering that Android 5.0.2 was signed under the 23.1.AXXX numbering.

If you had any doubt that the Lollipop 5.1.1 actually arrive this month for your Xperia Z2 and Z3, the Sony Japan has just confirmed that it will begin to release the news later this month for its clients over the air. Usually Japan is one of the last regions to receive firmware updates from Sony, but it seems that the company intends to adopt a different policy this time. So we have no idea when the novelty will come to other countries, and most importantly, when Brazilians will have access to it. But with the start to the end of the month, we can expect that in August something is released here.

Among the novelties we can wait for Lollipop 5.1.1 Sony, is in greater control of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections directly from the system shortcuts screen. Redesigned icons in the system setup screen are also expected, something that was missing from the Lollipop 5.0.2 that brought even the icons used by the company in the KitKat. It is also expected that the system animations are reset to deliver a superior experience with elegant transitions.
