Google releases second version of the Android Developer Preview M – Tudocelular.com

Attention Android developers and enthusiasts users equipped with Nexus devices, Google has just launched the second version of the Android Developer Preview M , available on the official system Green little robot.

The first version of Android M arrived during the Google I / O in late May, allowing interested developers initiate the application testing jobs and new system resources. As the list of important features that we published a few days ago, the news include automatic backup apps for Google Drive, numerical indicator of the percentage of battery, native support for external storage and biometric reader, apps drawer renewed, dark theme, menu quick shortcuts customizable, new storage manager, greater control over apps permissions and many others.

It seems that Google is on schedule (not as precise) we saw recently, a few days apart, since expected to update yet for the end of last month. Now the predictions change for a third preview version in early August and finally the Release Final sometime in the third quarter.

Android M DP 2 brings fixes for bugs and will be available via OTA for all who have installed the Developer Preview 1. Recalling that remain compatible only a few Nexus devices, namely Nexus 5, 6, 9 and the Nexus Player. Those who do not intend to wait for the automatic update can perform the download for manual installation following the steps on page files, the link you see below.
