Simple snapchat update devours battery devices … – Tudocelular.com

The snapchat released an update last night with a few simple changes in application design, but some element of the changes seems to be a battery hog for some smartphones . For example, the LG G4 had 50% usage and dropped to 28% of its battery charge after three hours unplugged, according to the testing site Techradar.

The report also states that in addition to download as soon as the battery, the unit also performed warmer than normal. When you mention the fact by Twitter, the team received several complaints from other users, some who also use the same LG device.

It was unclear, however, if the problem is specifically related the Android devices. The site also reported that conducted tests on devices iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and also the HTC One M9. The latter came to the use of 9% in less than half an hour.

The update snapchat basically brings Discover content for easier viewing, below the Stories tab. Now users can see the editorial content of Sky News, MTV and Cosmopolitan, among others, in addition to the events arranged right at the top.

After the bug news faced by many users, snapchat released another update for Android, but after the Techradar apparently the problem persists, and more drained battery cases have been reported since then. Those using the LG G4 seem to be those who suffer most from this failure. Some people on Reddit also reported the bug in Nexus 6.

Readers using the snapchat and took the upgrade felt any difference in battery performance and device temperature? Contains for us in the comments below.
