Google releases files for manual installation of Android M … – Tudocelular.com

M Android Developer Preview 2 was released by Google four days ago, update that is available for Nexus devices via OTA (Over The Air), but now users who wish to manually install may use the new files present on the search giant servers.

There is no difference between the versions available only via OTA update on the device itself or via .ZIP file . And initially only the two smartphones can be updated manually with a file 180MB for the LG Nexus 5 and 330MB for the other Motorola Nexus 6 , still missing files to the HTC Nexus and the Nexus 9 Player.

Those interested in performing the procedure can manually download the files on the links below. Recalling that with the Android M DP 2 Google finally allows you to remove icons in the status bar, brought a more advanced RAM manager, but unfortunately removed the darkened theme, perhaps to be better worked and return in the third version Preview expected to top August.

And as everyone should already be aware, the Preview versions are intended for developers to perform application testing and resources, so the enthusiastic users should upgrade the system aware that face failures and instabilities .
