This week we highlight Gmail for Android , which finally brought support for other email services such as, Outlook and Yahoo !; Facebook Riff, new Facebook app for you to create videos with your friends; the Nuzzel, a great news reader that shows you what your friends are sharing on social networks, games; and many more. Below is our selection of the best apps of the week.



1. Gmail

This is the update that many were expecting. Gmail for Android finally supports other e-mail services such as Yahoo! and Outlook, and now you can have all your accounts in one place, enjoying almost all the features that were previously only possible with Gmail. As the app already comes standard in most Androids, the only thing you should do is update the application in the Play Store.



2. Facebook Riff

Facebook also launched a new app this week. This is the Riff, so that users can create collaborative videos. It works like this: you create a short video, up to 20 seconds, and share with your friends. So who wants to can continue this video, and this friend in turn, the discloses to others, and so on.



3. Nuzzel

Nuzzel is an excellent application for reading news. The interesting thing is that it helps you save time showing the news that your friends are sharing, both Facebook and Twitter. This way, you optimizes the time just reading what has the greatest chance to be more interesting.



4. Drupe

drupe is a new application that helps you to save time in the tangle of apps IM . ZUI Locker is a replacement for the default lock screen of your Android, with a look very beautiful. It comes with different layouts for customization and provides shortcuts for common actions, such as the music player or a lantern displays weather, among other functions. It also has a very nice feature daily updated wallpaper of your lock screen.



6. DIY Locker

If you lock the screen of your Android monotonous, with the DIY Locker you can give a new life to it. The app allows you to customize the images that appear in the unlock pattern, and you can put your pictures or icons that DIY Locker offers.



7. Office Lens

Office Lens is a new application launched by Microsoft to scan documents, notes, frames, cards and anything else you want to extract the information and store in the cloud. In fact, the Office Lens is not so new, having been launched a year ago, but only for Windows Phone. It works together with OneNote and save all documents captured in the storage service in the Microsoft cloud.

Through the character recognition software (OCR), it can extract text from images, and it is possible to create Word files, PowerPoint and even PDF – but of course it all depends on the quality of the captured image. An interesting feature is the capture of business cards because it extracts data such as name and mobile number and can save them in the phonebook of your device.

The version for Android is still in phase tests, and to gain access you must enter the Google+ community in link below. At the top right, click “Join Community”, go to “About this Community”, look for the “Become a Tester” and follow the onscreen instructions to download the program.



8. Infinite Stairs

Infinite Stairs is a game that follows the same model of Flappy Bird and Swing Copters , with graphics well below average video game music 80, and of course, very difficult to play. Basically, you must climb stairs to say enough is enough, and there are only two on-screen buttons: one to climb the next rung and another to change direction.
