Last week, David Schuster , Manager of Motorola’s software industry products, announced in his account on Google Plus that Motorola will not update the Moto X 2013 Moto Moto E 2014 and G LTE to Android 5.0, but from straight to version 5.1. HTC intends to do the same with your devices. The M9 One already has Android 5.0.2, but the others will jump straight to the latest build of Google’s system.

The news was given by system developer account via LlabToofer via Twitter. For anyone who is looking forward to the Sense 7 , the company reports that will bring all in one package, its new interface with Android 5.1 Lollipop. As can be seen in the tweet above, the new models will reach One M8, One m8s , Desire Eye, Butterfly 2 , among others. The oldest flagship, One M7 will not receive official update from the company to the Android 5.1, but users of this device could try this version of the system to install the ROM provided for the variant Google Play Edition .

Even with such confirmation, HTC did not actually give any date when it will start to release the news to their customers. The Android 5.1 is available only to users of the line Android One and also those who have a family device Nexus . Motorola also did not report any specific date when the Moto line members will be updated. While Samsung, LG and Sony follow no timeframe at this point.
