The numbers were presented now reflect the data collected by comScore during the quarter that included the past months of December, January and February .

In this period, and based on information that has been collected and analyzed, Apple remained as the leading manufacturer of equipment, with Android being the preferred choice when it comes to user operating system.

These figures do not differ much from other already presented and reinforces Android’s leadership in the field of mobile devices.

The leadership of Apple as a leading manufacturer is not difficult to justify. The absence of a significant difference between Android and iOS, and coupled with the fact of having several manufacturers, Apple eventually take dividend be the one to provide equipment with iOS.

This is the scenario that the end of 2014 and beginning 2015 show of the mobile device market. It is a picture of how was the US market, but that can easily be extrapolated to the rest of the world, with some minor adjustments.

Android is, for quite some time, the operating system of choice consumers, but Apple is selling more devices, due to the diversity of offerings in the Android camp and be the one to offer devices with iOS
