The application can be viewed as a joke by the Underside programmers, but there is more history behind the experience. The company wanted to take advantage of their knowledge in developing mobile applications with augmented reality, creating an application for the iPhone, but after repeated refusals to submission, decided to put the app on your website and follow the tried Google’s store that was more “comprehensive”.
While the application was available for Safari, from the company’s website, has been downloaded more than 50,000 times. Now can only be used on Android.
To use effectively ARWatch you must first download a PDF, print and cut the image of the clock. After the application will use the phone’s camera to reproduce Apple Watch the image on the user’s pulse and change color, but little else.
While the Apple Watch does not begin to be sold in the first markets, which happens to April 10, this will be a different way to experience the clock without having to go through a store.
But as with other cases of augmented reality, can not be said that the feeling is the same …
The app can be downloaded free at Google Play store, but you have to add the costs to print and cut the model.
