Microsoft applications back to invade Android by … – TeK.sapo

The Bing applications, Skype, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook and Microsoft Office will be available on Cyanogen OS still during 2015. The startup responsible for alternative version of Android confirmed that Microsoft is committed to create ” native integrations “for your operating system.
 

In the future these partnerships can result in greater integration of Microsoft applications and services on Android. Recently, Microsoft released a screen unlock system to replace the traditional release of Android.
 

“People around the world use the operating system Cyanogen and Microsoft services to engage with what matters most, mobile devices,” said Kirt McMaster, CEO of Cyanogen, to The Verge.
 

“This exciting partnership with Microsoft will allow us to bring new services to mobile users around the world and we are delighted that Cyanogen users will soon be able to take advantage of these services.”
 

Very popular among programmers, the Cyanogen Android OS is an ecosystem modification. Besides being developed in open source version of Cyanogen startup aims to be an alternative to traditional Android of Google, both for users and for developers.
 

The agreement with Cyanogen is more an approximation of the Microsoft mobile operating system from Google. Recently Samsung also confirmed the integration of some Microsoft applications on new tablets, that after a legal battle involving the two technology giants.
