Twitter launched a new notification service to send alerts to users of microblog tweets and profiles showing interesting to be followed. The social network made a post on its official blog on Tuesday (24) giving all details of the resource that will run on mobile devices. The news reinforces the role of curation profile Magic Recs (@ MagicRecs) recommends that, via direct message (DM), people being followed.

According to the official Twitter blog, the notification was based on profile @ MagicRecs whose algorithm has been enhanced to send only the most relevant updates. The service will operate primarily in Twitter apps for Android and iOS, via push notifications.
