Gradually, the news of the new version of Android will be revealed to consumers, either through rumors or facts confirmed by the developers of the system. This time, the rumor of the Android 4.4 “KitKat” that is spreading is the existence of new APIs in the system giving access to the animation system to application developers.
An API to access the animations, applications to the platform could create a visual experience more consistent and fluid on screen transitions. This is an important step in seeking a user experience more natural and intuitive, while it helps to fix the visual identity of Android.
This rumor had been confirmed during an interview by the Sundar Pichai, Google vice president and head of the department of Android, as seen in a post on Reddit. Pichai not clear that the new version of Android have APIs for animations, but suggests that this is one of the focuses of the new version.
