resource is part of the so-called Google Play Services and allows user to change lock code remotely. Tool is being released slowly.

Google this week began releasing an update of its Google Play Services which includes the ability to change the password remotely lock your smartphone – a great addition since the company launched Android Device Manager in last month. Now you can lock your Android device remotely, instead of having to delete it completely before you can do that.

The search giant announced the Android Device Manager as a way to help users keep track and locate any Android device associated with your bills without having to install a third party application, but evidently omitted the ability to block remotely, or change your password. The service will not work if the power is off, but you can select an option to the smartphone alone wipe your data if you mark it as missing and it is turned on again.

Google is slowly releasing the resource through its Google Play Services. You can check to see if you have this tool to access the Administrators panel Device (Device Administrators), in the Security section (Security) in their settings.
