A new game for iOS, Mysterium is a board game co-op that puts you in the shoes of the ghost of a person murdered. The character uses cards to give tips to other players, with the goal of to find out who killed him and why. Their partners in this journey play like real mediums, and whoever guesses the charade before the entire world wins.
Inspired by a board game of success, Mysterium was announced in November, but suffered a delay. At least the wait seems to not have been in vain: the gameplay and the design of the game live up to the original game, but with even more things to explore. After all, there is only one game mode.
Mysterium for iOS has a version multiplayer up to seven players. The highlight is the integration between platforms: omultiplayer works between iOS, Android and Windows (via Steam). If your preference is not for the game in group, it is still possible to play all alone against the computer. In this mode, it is possible to immerse yourself in the stories of each character more deeply.
The game is paid and offers expansion packs purchased. But, if Mysterium for mobile devices that is as addictive as the version of the “real”, the investment can be worth it, especially if you have a group of friends to join you in the journey.
