Recently, BitTorrent has launched a streaming service of channels of live TV. BitTorrent Live has started to be available for iOS, and Fire TV and, now, has finally come to Android… But may be for a short time.

The BitTorrent Live is the latest service broadcasting TV channels live, that is based on the transmission system peer-to-peer, that is, the quality of the service will depend upon the number of users, tending also to be more stable than others that offer the same type of service. The on-air programming includes news, sports content and cultural rights.

The application could now be found for iOS, Apple TV, Fire TV, a beta version for Mac and, now, has come to Android. For evaluations to the service that have arisen, this Android version still needs some improvements, in particular, the level of interface and support for Chromecast.

in Spite of this advance, the entry into the world of Android and warranty by the company that was focused in the space media, there are those who put into question the future of this project. According to Engadget, the company is having some problems with one of their CEOs, involved in the project BitTorrent Now, having been away from the company for any service problems.

The Android app is not yet available in Portugal, which does not allow the download to be made through the PlayStore, however, the APK can be downloaded here.
