Found malware that purchase and install applications on your Android – Follow

The presence of malware on Android is a problem every time more frequent, and that Google, unfortunately, seems unable to control. For more action taken, it continues to infect the mobile devices, almost always through carelessness of the users.

A new threat seems to have come to the Android, causing havoc in a discreet way and installing applications on the devices. Of course that is not for ai and steal data of users.

Android malware

The Skyfin, the name given to this new malware, comes to Android for the most frequent port of entry for infections, the shops of the external applications. After infected, and with the support of a well-known component, the Android.Download, the smartphone starts a process of installing applications from the Play Store to give a ranking greater for certain applications.

Committing to the process of the Play Store, this malware is able to steal the control of Android and has been dedicated to only do these facilities, by increasing the ranking of the same and causing them to rise up in the lists of Google.

The most curious thing is that the Skyfin in fact, not install applications on the smartphones. Done all the normal process of purchase and download of the application, placing the application in the download folder, but indicating to the Play Store that it was installed. This behavior allows the user to not take the infection and therefore does not detect the Skyfin.

Android malware

This is not an abnormal behavior for this type of malware. The idea is that periodically new applications to be sent to the device compromised, making this part of a network of equipment that are dedicated to growing applications in the ranking of Google. It was further discovered that the Skyfin has the ability to click on advertising banners, once more reverting to the attacker.

in addition To this process, which already by itself is a negative for the smartphone, the Skyfin is dedicated to steal user data and send it to the attacker.

This is more of a problem that Google will hardly be able to resolve or delete. The source of the problem comes from users and applications who install stores external or APKs that are on the Internet.
