Galaxy S7 will start receiving the Android Nougat in markets … – Tecmundo

Samsung has begun this Tuesday (17) the distribution of the final version of the Android Nougat in some markets that participated in the Beta testing of the update. Among the regions covered by the company are the United Kingdom and China — the asian country seems to be experiencing some difficulties at the moment.

Requiring the download of 1.2 GB in data, the new version of the operating system currently covers only the devices based on the Exynos processor. Until the moment there is no forecast of when the novelty should be distributed on a global scale, but, taking into account the history of the company, it may take a few months until the process is terminated.

The distribution was stopped in China because of the bugs reported by users

In China, the process was halted due to a series of problems and bugs reported by users. With this, Samsung has released another package Beta in the country, without determining when a finished version of the software must pass to be distributed officially.

The Android Nougat brings no less that 20 new features to the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, including visual changes, and the possibility of changing the native resolution of the screen. It is worth noting that many of them are courtesy of the proprietary interface of the Samsung and they don’t necessarily have to do with the system of Google.
