Trump, thank you swap your Android for a phone “more secure” – SAPO Tek

On the day of the inauguration of Donald Trump, the Associated Press and the New York Times reveal that the next president of the United States are already apart of Android smartphone that, during several months, used to do election campaign through Twitter.

according To both publications, which identify the equipment to be replaced as being a model Galaxy from Samsung, Trump will now have a mobile phone “secure, encrypted and approved by the Secret Services with a number that few people have”.

In 2009, when Barack Obama came in office, was granted permission to keep your private phone, a Blackberry which, to date, was superior to the options presented by the security services. The north american was eventually to replace it later, assuming, as a guest on a talk show, that their equipment was now a smartphone, but that does not allow the installation of applications, capturing photos, playing music, or even some of the calls.

For security reasons, the access to the president must be limited and reduced to the minimum possible. The risks of exposing their personal devices to hackers obliges the specialists of the White House to impose upon them a series of restrictions on the level of communications.
