Instant Tethering – The new role of the Android “stolen” to the iOS – Follow

The mobile operating system of Google has evolved significantly in recent years. With the release of Android 7.0, which is not yet present in 1% of devices, Google has innovated in some features, and the work continues on new versions with the aim of improving the system.

Now, Google has released a new feature dubbed with the name Instant Tethering, which allows the connection between Android devices… something in the style of what exists for iOS.

Android does not need third-party applications to turn an outfit into a real hotspot. However to create a hotspot in Android means that the user has to configure it, by setting some parameters and activate manually. And if the process was all automatic and smart as it does in iOS? It is here that you enter the new function of Android, the Instant Tethering.

The Instant Tethering is a new feature of Android that allows any device, with Google account, share your connection with other equipment. This feature is available with Google Play Services 10.2, which is already distributed in some Nexus and smartphones Pixel.

while this seems to be a unique feature to connect to Android devices. This novelty is very similar to what already exists in the world of Apple where, for example, an iPhone can function as a router for the Internet connection, via bluetooth, without the need to activate the hotspot. Everything happens in a way transparent to the end user, provided that the bluetooth is active.
