Does Android is even a monopoly? – News Minute to (press release)

According to The Verge, Google does not make any smartphone and does not force anyone to choose Android, are manufacturers who choose your operating system. Android is known as the open-source alternative to iOS, and the two have a healthy competition in the world.

The main ‘thing’ that Google has to say is that devices have applications and Google services. According to The Verge, if this is a monopoly, then just even this: if someone invests their time and money to develop applications like Gmail, Chrome, Maps and YouTube, the company should have the right to choose who uses it.

However, the most important application of Google is the Play Store, which is where you can download any application, whether or not made by Google, and is the only competition feasible to Apple’s App Store.

For the same publication, it is difficult to think of Google as a monopoly power, as it does not fit the standard.
