Android Pay – Mobile payments began today in the US – Pplware

It was in late May that the giant Google announced the already popular digital mobile payment system, Android Pay. Today the platform became operational in the United States and is available in more than one million merchants.

This service can be used on mobile devices with NFC technology and operating Android KitKat 4.4 + system.

As we know, Google’s Android is the big Pay Apple competitor Pay the apple giant and will also be the Samsung Pay the Korean company Samsung. Launched today in the United States, Android Pay will be available in more than one million stores, including most importantly Staples, Walgreens, Toys R Us, Office Depot, BJ’s, Whole Foods, GameStop and Rite Aid.

To use Android Pay, you will need to associate your smartphone with a bank card. Services such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover have also been support for Android Pay.

The Google said that Android Pay is limited to the tap-to-pay in physical stores.
