Chronus - clock and weather widget on a ... - Net & Tech

One of the great advantages of Android in Relation to support iOS is the operating system / operating Google has to a large supply of Widgets. It is thus a feature enjoyed by the major manufacturers (ie Samsung, LG, HTC, etc …) to differentiate its offering of software. Sometimes this difference is based on (among other components) the introduction of a clock widget weather and temperature. But what if you are not satisfied with the widget that comes bundled with your smartphone? So Chronus can be a viable and elegant.

Chronus is a new widget for Android that allows you to display the time and current weather conditions. This widget is developed by the same author of “home CyanogenMod Clock”, the widget with the same name that comes in the Community Android ROM CyanogenMod (CM). This means that if you were a fan of this widget, you no longer need to have the CM ROM to be able to download. The author renamed the widget from popular ROM for Community Chronus, due to having chosen to pick the name I had in mind before the widget has been accepted in the popular ROM.

Besides Widget

have as main objective to show elegantly simplistic but the hours and current weather and forecast for the city you are in, allows a very useful feature. The Chronus enables list all tasks / events that have scheduled in Google Calendar. One advantage of this widget is also able to add the fact that any major area of ??its home (home screen) but also on the lock screen. For this feature needs Android 4.2 or higher, or manager of home (Home Launcher) to support this operation.

Chronus has the following features:

• Supports adding a widget on the screen / home screen (Android 4.1 +) and screen / lock screen (Android 4.2 +).
• Choose between analog or digital clock as well as customizable aspect
• viewing option Alarms
• Configuration in bold (bold) or normal Digital Clock, Date and Alarm
• panel forecasts unloads Yahoo! Weather service information.
• Choose from color or monochrome icons on the state of the time

The only “limitation” of Chronus in our opinion (if one can dub as such), is that minimally need a modern version of Android. At a minimum, supports Android 4.1 but to take full advantage of all its features need Android 4.2. If you have a smartphone, or a recent Community ROM installed with any of these versions of Android can now go to Google Play. The Chronus as a widget and elegant at the same time, it is an asset to display the current time and weather conditions in a simplistic way in Android.
