How to turn your Android into a Wi-Fi router - Globo.com

Android users have a good alternative to get an access point Wi-Fi at your disposal. Just turn your 3G network router and abandon the reliance on a Wi-Fi when you need to have external Internet access for your laptop or tablet. Step 1. Among the “Settings” on your smartphone. Then go to the option “Wireless Networks and others.” This will vary from device to device, but you should look for some option configuration networks.

Step 2

. Now, look for the option “Access point Wi-Fi.” Then click on “Configure the access point Wi-Fi”

Step 3. A window will open with configuration options. Choose a name and password for your network. In the security option, select “WPA2 PSK”. Finally, click “Save”.

Step 4. After configuring the network, enable the “Access Point Wi-Fi.” A network icon appears in the top menu of the mobile phone and it has now turned into a network point. To access the internet, you need to turn on Wi-Fi notebook or tablet and connect it to the cellular network as a common wireless network by entering the password.

Ready! To disable the network, you should just uncheck the box next to “Access Point Wi-Fi”
