Samsung Galaxy S4 gets Android 4.3 and support for Galaxy Gear - Tecnologia.com.pt

The Samsung promised and fulfilled. In last Thursday (17) Samsung began offering Android 4.3 for the Galaxy S4 , adding support for Galaxy Gear.

The flagship Galaxy S line received update for the latest version of Android, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean . Besides Android 4.3, there was more news: improved performance, support for OpenGL 3.0, Samsung Knox is preinstalled, new keyboard and browser, plus some interface improvements.

The highlight of the update to Android 4.3, and the operating system itself, is the possibility to connect to the Samsung Galaxy Gear. Until now, the Galaxy Gear could only work with the Galaxy Note 3 and the new version of the Galaxy Note 10.1, from now are three devices.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a 5-inch screen Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 p per pixel density of 441 ppi and Gorilla Glass 3. The device has a Qualcomm 600 quad-core 1.9 GHz, has 2 GB of RAM, there will be options of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of storage with expansion via Micro SD up to 64GB. The rear camera is a camera with 13MP BSI aperture f/2.2 with flash and 2MP front. The S4 Galaxy has NFC specifications, LTE/4G, GPS, WiFi 802.11 a / ac / b / g / n, HT80, Bluetooth 4.0 and IR LED for remote control. The battery has 2600 mAh battery which can be charged via wireless.
