Google chairman says Android is more secure than iPhone - Digital Look

Just take a quick searched by Google to realize that the amount of virus that arise for Android is far superior to the iPhone – which, incidentally, some still consider impenetrable, although it is not. Contrary to the results of the tool itself, however, the chief executive of the search giant said the Google mobile operating system is the most secure.

At a symposium sponsored by Gartner, Eric Schmidt drew laughter from the audience to answer a question raised by analyst David Willis. Head of research mobility and communications consultancy, he told the executive that most present prefer iOS to Android: “Android is not safe,” he said.

“It’s not safe?” continued Schmidt. “It’s safer than the iPhone.”

According to ZDNet, who was present on the occasion, the president of Google going around to answer your platform has 1 billion users, therefore, passes through the safety test more dangerous: the world real.

After 45 minutes of conversation, Willis summarized what he had heard what he wanted, to which Schmidt said: “Android is very safe.” Paused while the audience laughed again and continued: “You’ll be happier with Gmail, Chrome and Android than you can imagine.”
