An update to Google’s Chrome browser is causing a lot of headaches in the users of the Android OS this Sunday, October 20. After the Brazilian DST takes effect at 0 hours, the browser started to crash once started, forcing the system to terminate the application.

So far, we have found two solutions that can be used to circumvent this temporary misfortune: change the date and time of the operating system manually or address the Play Store and uninstall the last update of the browser.

Changing the time

In the Android settings, look for the “Date and Time” and turn off the automatic time zone. Then, set the time manually Brazilian. Depending on your phone, you can choose the time zone in another country (such as Buenos Aires, Argentina, which is in GMT -3).

Uninstalling the update

This is, in the opinion of Tecmundo, the best solution to solve this problem. Go to the app’s Play Store and search for the app Google Chrome. Once on this screen, press the “Uninstall” button. You will see that even doing it the “Open” will still be accessible. Now just open the app and browse normally. If this solution does not work on your phone, try changing the time manually.

hope that Google will fix this problem as soon as possible, meanwhile stay tuned in because Tecmundo post an update when the error is fixed. If you find other solutions, please be sure to share with other readers in the comments area below.
