WhatsApp has been testing several new features in its beta channel. Every update the app gets some visual change or new feature. However, not always the novelty is released for all users. The latest findings may be available to you for some time, but for others it may have just arrived. Here we list the latest news, and what can we expect next stable update of WhatsApp.

image change alert groups

New actions for unknown contacts

New interface for creating groups
Now when you decide to create a group in WhatsApp, you’ll notice that there is a new screen for selection of contacts. The image of each contact is higher, as the release button for each of them. This change was also added to WhatsApp broadcast screen, leaving the whole look of the most consistent messages app.
Olympic Emojis

End of support for older versions of Android
Since February that WhatsApp reported that older versions of Android would no longer support the application. Now Facebook has decided to start stop devices with Android 2.1 (Eclair) and 2.2 (Froyo). The bad news is that if you want to continue receiving WhatsApp updates you need to update your device, or more likely to buy a new smartphone.
