Hangouts 10 comes to Android and iOS, but still leaves the system … – Tudocelular.com

Google has released updates for Hangouts both Android and iOS. And interestingly, the two received the same version number: 10.0.0. Twins brothers? No. The version of green little robot remains a little less powerful than the users of Apple, despite being half logical to think that would be otherwise, since the app belongs to the Android developer.

Either way, the two still do not match, except for the version number. Still, Android users have gained some news. The native sharing option was included, and at least this app is comparable to the version of iOS, which won this function at the end of April. Just over a month later, until it is not so much. However, Android 6.0 Marshmallow users already had this feature enabled. Another novelty is a shadow on the send button ¯ _ (ツ) _ / ¯. In addition, of course, visual improvements and bug fixes.

The iOS version continues ahead mainly by offering the ability to send video messages to your contacts. And the version 10 also included sharing a link to invite other contacts to call, universal links for direct access to the app and, as usual, bug fixes and visual improvements.

You can even think Hangouts is a dying messenger, just waiting for the release of Allo and Duo apps. But it’s not quite it. According to Google, because it is integrated into your account, the messenger who replaced Talk (longing) is a bit more targeted to corporate use.
