Finally found a way to run Android on iPhone – Pplware

One of ordering more impossible to accomplish in the world of smartphones is the ability to put an operating system running on hardware competition. In particular many would like to see Android running on the hardware equipment of Apple and so see satisfied a curiosity that lasts for years.

But it seems that this feat has now been achieved, albeit in not directly. Thanks to a small enclosure is now possible to have Android running on the iPhone.

This feat was achieved by a programmer who has repeatedly been referenced, Nick Lee. your “made” in this area are certainly remembered by all. It was he who managed to get Windows 95 running on an Apple Watch.

His feat has now been able to put Android to run on any iPhone, but using a little trick. In fact what Nick Lee could do was use the iPhone screen to be able to show the screen of a small board that is in the box he built. To do this uses an application that receives the video input, using the lightning cable.

In addition to the application that created Nick Lee also dealt with all the hardware and the box, which looks more like a drummer outside.

To run Android it is used a board LeMaker Hikey, which is stored within the set in a 3D printer box, which also contains all the additional elements such as battery and a boost converter increases the battery voltage and thus can power the board used.

This box also has opening for intrododução an SD card card, HDMI and one USB port.

the video below, written by Nick Lee, shows the final product to be used. The iPhone is running Android, although it is only used as a screen for viewing.

All Android features are available. Access to Play Store is possible, as well as the synchronization of Google account and all other elements.

After using the Android, just click the main iPhone button and everything returns as before, taking iOS iPhone account.

This is a false realization of a concept that many were waiting for many years. The idea of operating system to exchange power has been achieved by some projects, but always with results below expectations and flaws that make them impossible to use.
